How do I order?

1. How do I get my images to you? What format do you need them in? (back)

For digital images, we recommend you use our easy online ordering system. If you only have a hard-copy photograph, negative or slide, please send it to us at PO Box 158, Corinda, Queensland, 4075. Please contact us if you intend to send a very large file.

We can accept images in the following formats; jpeg, tiff, psd, gif, bmp, png and pdf. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about an alternative image format.

We prefer not to provide a table showing the resolution required for different sized prints because the maximum print size depends so much on the quality of the camera and subject matter of the image. Instead, we welcome you to send your image to us for an obligation free evaluation. We will let you know the largest size we can print from your image, as well as pricing for a range of sizes.

2. What are your turnaround times? (back)

Our turnaround time is approximately five days from confirmation of your order. If you genuinely require your print faster, then we will be happy to offer you a shorter turnaround time at no additional cost. Please remember that you need to add transit time to our turnaround times. These vary from next day to four working days depending on the freight method you choose.

3. When do I have to pay? (back)

You do not have to pay for your print/s until you have received them and are completely satisfied with the quality. Once your print is sent, we will email you an invoice containing our bank account details. We would appreciate payment within seven days of receiving your print (provided that you are completely delighted with the product we supply).

4. What payment methods do you accept? (back)

Pet Prints accepts cheques, money orders, and direct bank transfers.

5. What happens if I get my print and am not completely happy? (back)

Our aim is to absolutely delight our customers. If you receive your print and are not completely happy, then simply return it to us and we will either reprint it to your satisfaction, or cancel your order and not charge you a cent. The choice is yours. Please see the Amazing Pet Prints Guarantee.

6. Do your prices include delivery? (back)

Our delivery rates need to be added to the print cost. We offer incredibly competitive freight rates. Please visit our pricing page for more information.

7. Do you ship Australia-wide? How about internationally? (back)

Every day, our canvas prints are shipped around Australia. We use state-of-the-art packaging, as well as proven delivery services that offer tracking from collection to delivery. In the unlikely event that your print is damaged or lost during transit, we will cover the cost of reprinting and resending the print to you. Our freight costs are very competitive. How is your canvas made?

1. Can you outline the process for creating a Pet Print? (back)

• First, we enhance / prepare your image for printing. This includes ensuring the colour is correct, resizing your image and performing any editing work required.
• We then print your image on our premium quality canvas, using inks that have been independently tested against UV fading. If your print is large, then we will print a small colour sample and full size strip from your image to ensure that the resolution and colour are perfect.
• We then let your print dry before spraying it with a protective coating to provide protection against moisture, dust, UV light and inquisitive fingers.
• Once dry, we make a custom frame for your print out of our first grade, kiln dried meranti timber. Your print is then stretched over this frame and neatly stapled at the back.
• We then carefully trim the excess canvas at the back of the frame, and cover the edge of the canvas with acid-free framer's tape. This protects against dust and offers a neat, professional finish for your print.
• Finally, we insert quality hooks and cord to allow you to hang your print.

3. Do you enhance / fix scratches? (back)

Yes, we employ professionally trained staff who take care of our pre-printing work. This includes enhancing the colour of your images, fixing scratches and editing your images to your specification.

We offer 20 minutes of professional image editing per print at no additional charge. This includes creating collages, cropping, resizing and preparation of proofs, etc. This is plenty of time to completely most work. In the event that it will take longer, we will discuss it with you first.

4. Tell me about colour management (back)

Many canvas printers have terms and conditions that state that if the colour of your print is not as you expect, then it's tough luck. Pet Prints is different. We employ trained staff to ensure that our colours are perfect. It is in our best interest to ensure that the colour of your print is vibrant and true to the original subject. If not, then you simply return the print to us as per the Incredible Pet Prints Guarantee. Consequently, we do not hide behind small print and disclaimers. Our promise to you is that we will create your print with such fantastic colour that it literally jumps off the canvas, or you can return your print to us and not pay a single cent.
